Terms of Service for SnapFrame

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SnapFrame Chrome Extension, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Swyft Media (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

1. The Service

SnapFrame is a browser-based utility that lets you capture webpages (via viewport capture, element picker, or full-page scrolling), annotate and edit those captures, resize them for various platforms, and export them. Screenshots are processed and stored locally on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. Optional cloud features allow you to synchronize your license and configuration across your authorized devices.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

3. Accounts & Authentication

Core capture and editing features do not require an account. If you choose to create an optional SnapFrame cloud account to verify a premium license or sync settings, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Plans, Licenses & Billing

SnapFrame is offered under the following plans:

• Free Tier: Provided at no cost. The Free Tier includes a strict three (3)-export lifetime limit, applies a “Captured by SnapFrame” watermark to exports, stores data locally only, and restricts certain features (such as PDF export, the side-by-side comparison stitcher, and collaborative features).
• Pro Subscription: A recurring subscription billed monthly or annually. Pro unlocks unlimited lifetime exports, removes the watermark, and enables premium and cloud features.
• Lifetime License: A one-time purchase that grants Pro features for the lifetime of the product, with no recurring charges. Lifetime availability may be limited.

Payments and checkout are processed by our third-party payment provider, Whop. By purchasing a plan, you also agree to the payment provider’s applicable terms. We do not store your full payment card details.

Renewals & Cancellation

Subscription plans (monthly and annual) renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period. The Lifetime License is a single payment and does not renew.

Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at the address below and we will review your request in good faith.

5. License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SnapFrame for your own use. Paid licenses may be used on up to a maximum of two (2) concurrent active devices.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Service or your license without our written permission.
• Copy, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the Extension, except where permitted by law.
• Circumvent export limits, license checks, device limits, or other technical restrictions.
• Use the Service to capture, store, or distribute content unlawfully, or in violation of the rights (including privacy and intellectual property rights) of others.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.

7. Your Content

Screenshots and edits you create with SnapFrame are yours. As described in our Privacy Policy, captures are processed and stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. You are solely responsible for the content you capture and for ensuring you have the right to capture and use it.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the “SnapFrame” and “Swyft Media” names and logos, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks without prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Whop for payment processing and Supabase for authentication and license synchronization. We are not responsible for the practices of these providers, and your use of their services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that captures and exports will be free of defects.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swyft Media and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the Extension at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal liability. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, except where prohibited by your local law.
